YA Blogger Show and Tell
Dear Book Blogger,
Many of you have fantabulous blogs and websites on book blogging. I have visited many blogs and websites and I am impressed with what is happening out there. If I already have a writing/reading/blogging relationship with you I am happy to have you as a friend, if not, I would like to become friends.
Allow me to begin by telling you a little bit about myself. I am an avid reader and writer, a mother of two beautiful kids, a happily married wife and a cool and crazy teacher, according to my high school theater and dance students. I am now trying to become a successful book blogger and from what I can tell that success deeply depends on my ability to network well. So, here I am on your virtual doorstep asking for your participation in an idea that can benefit all of us. I am calling it The YA Book Blogger Show and Tell.
How do I participate?
1 - Paste The YA Book Blogger Show and Tell widget on your blog/website.
2 - Email me a link to your blog/website (amj@columbus.k12.nc.us).
3 - Create a post on your blog about something featured on another book bloggers blog/website at least once a month. Your post can be about a review, post, giveaway, interview, written work (poetry, novel), etc… on another bloggers blog. You may choose from the list of participants below or select from one of your favorite blogs. You don't have to select a post from this blog. I already know you love me, or you wouldn't be here (xoxo).
4 - Post a link to your blog post here in this post as often as you like (I will re - post every Saturday). I would love it if participants could post something at least once each month.
5 - Send an invitation to a fellow blogger to join the ranks every now and again so we can continue to grow. If they decline I won't kick you out (tee hee), I just want to be sure people know about it and feel welcome to join.
Does this sound like a good idea? This project begins when the first post is created and posted here. Be the first to join!
I look forward to becoming friends soon. Happy Blogging!
Smiles,
Amy

Amy, you know that you always have my support, right? You have my email, just let me know what to do and I will be happy to participate :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Evie, my dear and trusted friend. I just sent you an email. It's generic, but it explains the game plan for my networking idea. Once I have a list of bloggers I will create another scrolling index listing all of the participants links for easy access to everyone's blogs. After that I will set up a post each week where people can post about their participation.
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Amy
Thank you for the email, Amy! I must say I really like this idea and I'm excited about participating! Let me know when you have everything set up, so I could create my own post and link back to you.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
Thank you Evie! You are the first official participant of YA Book Bloggers Show and Tell. That means (hopefully) that everyone will see your link first and post about something on you blog.
ReplyDeleteAll you have to do is post about something interesting you've seen on another book bloggers blog and invite them to join the group.
Smiles,
Amy
