In My Mailbox (Meme #4)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren. Bloggers who participate in this meme take the opportunity to feature a book they have borrowed, have been gifted as a blog award, received for review, checked out of the library, etc... on their blog. The idea is to get the word out about as many books as possible.

Here is a list of books I have purchased recently and look forward to reading in the lazy summer days to come soon, aahhh!

Grey Eyes by Brandon Alston

Goodreads Description:

15 year old Anastasia Adams has spent her entire life on run. She and her mother have never spent more than 18 months in any one location, often times leaving with just the clothes on their backs. Despite the havoc that this is wreaking on Ana's social and academic life, her mother offers no explanation as to why it is they're constantly moving, or even what it is they're running from. But that all changes one night in the woods of Pelion, SC--the night the terror catches up with them.
Fearing her mother dead, and having barely escaped with her own life, Ana is whisked away to world of privilege and tradition. It’s a fairytale come to life. The poor girl used to living out of a suitcase is now a resident of one of the most exclusive addresses in the world. The people there adore her and she catches the eye of a young guardian who sees her as a refreshing change to the girls he’s grown up with.
If only they could find her mother. If only she knew the consequences of being born a “conjurer.” If only she knew who that green eyed stranger was, the stranger who’ll tell her about a past too romantic, and too tragic to be real. In the end, she’ll have to choose between the boy who has captured her heart and the stranger she can feel down in her soul, assuring at least one of them an almost certain death.

Wasteland by Patricia Williams

Goodreads Description:
One year ago, Becca Wilkinson changed the lives of dozens of people. Now, one word will change her life forever...

Becca Wilkinson is a nobody, and those that are aware of her existence know her as "that quiet girl in the back of class", "loser", or her favorite-"that chick that killed all those people."

While most people at Leeville High have long forgotten Becca's role in the devastating car wreck that happened over a year ago, she still has nightmares. Her memories are in fragments and what little she remembers doesn't make sense--things like hearing voices and moving things without touching them.

New at Leeville, Luke Johnston has everyone eating out of the palm of his hand...except Becca. There's something dark and dangerous about him that she distrusts. Despite her rebuffs, Luke is adamant about getting to know her better.

Becca will have to let her guard down if she wants answers--but can she handle the truth?

The Heat by Heather Killough-Walden

Goodreads Description:

Lily St. Claire is a simple, if beautiful Southern girl who has no idea what she is in for when she decides to move back to her home town in Louisiana after a decade of being away. But between the two very different alpha werewolves who instantly begin fighting to claim her as their mate and the serial killer who has her in his sites, she's about to find out.

Grey Eyes sounds interesting. Too bad it's only for Kindle...
Ah, I wasn't too impressed with CoFA. The first cycle of MI was brilliant. This time, not so much :/

    Anyway, enjoy your books!
