Introducing my first ever 12 hour Read-A-Thon!!!!!
Author Tiffany King (Saving Angels Series) and Autumn (The Autumn Review) decided "Oh what fun it is to read on a blistering winter's day! Hey!" So, they came up with this Read-A-Thon! So keep your pj's on, grab some snacks and let's read!
When: December 30, 2011
What's involved:
*You will make a selection of books to read in a 12 hour time frame.
*You will start your 12 hour reading period from the time you wake on the 30th.
*Your books should be at least 200 pages each.
*You must post on your blog, tweet, or comment on this post to update status every hour.
*The person who reads the most books in the 12 hour period will win a prize.
*We will be giving away random prizes throughout the day on Twitter. They will be book related trivia questions.

ReplyDeleteOK folks, It's December 30th (8:26 AM to be exact), I've got the coffee brewing and my Kindle is all charged up and ready to go. I have a confession to begin with. I was to eager to read the first book on my list and started it before now so, as I am already 79% through Olympia Heights, when I am finished I will only be able to claim 21% of that book (is that right, math... it's early????). Well, I'm off to begin my reading adventure. Good luck to all and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteOops! I missed my first check in point! Well, better late than never. I just finished Olympia Heights by Amy Leigh Strickland! It was awesome and I highly recommend it to fans of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series. Ms. Strickland puts a new twist on what it is to be a teen Greek God! It's a 5 star read so check it out! Next on my list is Mortal Defiance by Nichole Chase!

ReplyDeleteI finally finished Mortal Defiance and guarantee this book is a 5 star read! Well, I believe I can safely say I put a good 12 hours of reading in today (even between meals and loads of laundry). It was a great day and I had a wonderful time.
