Paranormal Perfection!

What is Paranormal Perfection?
I love to read YA Paranormal stories (if you haven't figured that out yet, lol). Lucky for me, the ebook world seems to be jammed packed with fantastic, young adult, paranormal writers. My new goal for my blog is to feature a new and wonderful read by YA indie paranormal authors that I love each week. Some of these authors I have have never met, some I have had to pleasure to chat with on the internet and some I have had the pleasure to meet in person.

This week's selection of Paranormal Perfection is Fateful by Cheri Schmidt.

I have had the good fortune to get to know this phenominally talented writer on Goodreads, the YA Sisterhood on FB and as a fellow member of the YA Indie Carnival, a weekly blog tour hosted and posted by numerous fine and friendly YA Indie bloggers and authors.

Synopsis:
A huge fan of Jane Austen, Danielle hopes to find her own Mr. Darcy when she leaves Colorado to attend art school in London. Of course she knows it's silly to wish for that, naive even. But she's met enough males who lacked respect for women, a growing trend it seemed. And at nineteen...well.... However, on only her second night there she gets lost and is threatened by a stalker who proves to be immune to her martial arts training. Before she is completely overpowered, she is then saved by Ethan Deveroux.

While Danielle does find the romance she seeks in Ethan, he's no Mr. Darcy. Her hero is held by a spell which fractures their chance at a happy ending. During the day Ethan is closer to mortal than immortal and can date her like any other man. Yet, as the sun sets, the powerful magic of an ancient curse returns and the evil of that spell is revealed. When that magic begins, Danielle's fairytale romance ends because Ethan Deveroux is a vampire.

My Review!

Fateful by Cheri Schmidt is one heck of a paranormal romance read. Fateful is the tale of star crossed lovers, Danielle and Ethan. Danielle is an American mortal new on the London scene. Her family has entrusted her into her Aunt and Uncle's care while she attends a local college to study art. Ethan is the brave and mysterious vampire who saves Danielle from a much darker version of what he is.

In this incredible story the unlikely pair fall in love. The mystery surrounding the familiarity they feel toward one another and the impossible quest for a cure to their differences make this book a captivating and fascinating read.

If you are a fan of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Series or Amanda Hocking's My Blood Approves Series, Fateful is a book you will definitely want to settle into. I absolutely loved the characters Cheri Schmidt brings to life in this tale of dangerous love and can hardly wait to read the next installment, Fractured.

I give Fateful 5 stars!
